Are there any subject specific data management checklists that exist? Have you or a colleague created any at your institution?

Not necessarily subject specific, but there are several checklists available that can help you organize the information you will need for your DMP. One of the most comprehensive Data Management Plan, DMP checklists was created but the DCC (Digital Curation Centre in the UK) available at http://www.dcc.ac.uk/sites/default/files/documents/resource/DMP_Checklist_2013.pdf. There is also a DMP Checklist flyer, a handy foldout version of the Checklist here: http://www.dcc.ac.uk/webfm_send/1741. MIT Libraries has another checklist at http://libraries.mit.edu/data-management/plan/write/. The Dataverse network, hosted by Harvard, offers a simple checklist followed by a general DMP template at http://best-practices.dataverse.org/data-management/index.html#checklist-for-data-management-plan. And finally, the University of Oxford has an old version of a checklist that includes possible response: Twenty Questions for Research Data Management: https://datamanagementplanning.wordpress.com/2012/03/07/twenty-questions-for-research-data-management/.
