Is there a way to preserve my sensitive data that contain personal information so that I can potentially share them in the future, once the risks to human subjects have lessened?

ICPSR has an excellent overview of disclosure risk assessment and mitigation here: There may be strategies you can use on your data to enable sharing now, rather than waiting. ICPSR also offers consultation on sharing sensitive data, and your IRB and data librarian may also be useful resources in determining what your options are, or whether your institution (or a repository like ICPSR, if your institution is a member) can preserve the data until such a time as it can be made accessible more broadly.
